On 8 August 2018, the Faculty of Military Leadership of the University of Defence visited representatives of logistics branches from the Qatar Armed Forces, led by Brigadier General Ali Saeed, M. Al-Shuaibi. 

After an initial welcome speech by the Vice-Rector for Development and Internationalization Col. Ing. Luďek Jedlička, Ph.D. introduced visitors Vice-Dean for Public Relations and Development of LtC. Ing. Jan Drozd, Ph.D. with the structure and tasks of the University of Defence and its components. He also presented study programs offered by the Faculty of Military Leadership and expert activities.

The presentation of the Head of the Department of Logistics Col (GS) Dr. habil. Ing. Pavel Foltin, Ph.D. was focused on the system of education and training of the logistics experts of the Czech Armed Forces, and scientific and research activities of the Department of Logistics. Lifelong learning courses were also presented, notably the NCS Course for Managers and Logistics coding courses and the NCS Course for Codifiers in cooperation with the National Codification Authority and AURA.
