About the Department
THE FOCUS OF THE DEPARTMENT
Department of Military Science is focused on scientific research, the acquisition of knowledge and education in the field of military history, military art and crisis management. Implemented education in bachelor, master and doctoral program and career courses, where it uses the results of the scientific activities and publications.
In the area of military history, the Department deals with the period from antiquity to the present day with an emphasis on the history of warfare in the 19th century and 20th century, traditions I., II., and III. the resistance and on the history of foreign missions.
In the area of military art is a scientific-professional activity and training focused on the study of the impact of developments in the security environment on military art (theory) and the leadership of the current operations (the practice) and scientific forecasting changes in the management of future operations.
