Professional Focus

The Department of Engineer Support is responsible for and conducts instruction in the field of management of engineer support for operations within the study program Command and Employment of the Armed Forces.
It also develops scientific and research activities focused on engineer support for troop operations.

The department contributes to the development of normative documents for the benefit of the Engineer Corps of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, particularly in the areas of employment of forces and means and management of combat support.
It provides review, assessment, and expert activities for components of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and cooperating technical institutes.

The department’s professional focus includes primarily the organization and command of units, execution of engineer support tasks, and the effective use of equipment and resources in line with the requirements of current and future operations.
