Curriculum vitae

He was born on 4th October 1980 in the town Frystak. After graduating from the Secondary School of Gastronomy and Commerce in Zlín in 2000, he began his studies at the Military Academy of the Land Forces in Vyskov. Then he continued his studies at the University of Defence in Brno in the field of commander of an engineer unit with a management specialization. He successfully completed his studies and after that he continued in the doctoral postgraduate program specialized in engineering issues, which he successfully completed in 2008.

He was subsequently assigned to the 71st Mechanized Battalion, where he worked in various command and staff positions for more than eight years. For example, he worked as a commander of the engineer platoon, a chief of the combat training group and a deputy commander of the command company. During his practice, he was assigned for half a year as a member of the staff of the 7th Mechanized Brigade. Then, as an officer of army engineering, returned to the Faculty of Military Leadership, where he has been still working until now.

At the Department of Tactics, he held the positions of lecturer and later an assistant professor, and nowadays he is the head of the group of tactics of units and formations. He also holds a pyrotechnic license. He has been engaged in scientific and research activities for a long time. In 2022, he became the responsible researcher of the DZRO LANDOPS project. He is the guarantor of the subject “Field Preparation”, which he has been teaching for the ninth year.

He is the author of several professional publications and scientific articles. He also served as a member and a vice-chairman of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Military Leadership, and he is also as a member of the editorial board. He is married, he has three children, and his biggest hobby is historical fencing.
