Research activities are closely related with the department’s specific orientation and are mainly focused on solving tasks sourcing from defence research topics. In accordance with Army needs, the research activities are concentrated most of all on the preparation of engineer corps unit commanders, the development of blasting operations technologies, the preparation of calculations usable at armed forces engineer support tasks and the optimization of the usage of engineer corps forces and measures while realizing combat engineer support and general engineer support measures at non-combat operations.
